From this point to the intersection with the Methow River Trail it got really tough – I kept stopping to gorge myself on wild raspberries. Micki couldn't figure out what was so exciting, they didn't taste that great to her. And here I thought she was such a smart dog!

The weather has changed again, from sunny skies to ominous gray cloud cover.  But tomorrow night we will be in that cabin M mentioned or at Lake Ann, so I don’t care what it does anymore.  I am just tired. I guess one day's rest between a 30-mile day and a 16-mile day just wasn't enough. But it doesn't matter – Friday and Saturday I can rest all I want at Lake Ann.  I'll just stay in my tent and sleep!
