1977: Stevens to Snoqualmie ... Again
Page 9: Snoqualmie Pass
The next morning, Poo refused to leave the tent when Marj, Micki and I went up to the Hot Springs for a soak. The water temperature was 107° and it felt heavenly to my sore, tight muscles.
After breaking camp, Poo and I both had much difficulty walking until we got warmed up. After that, the old muscles loosened up a bit we were back in the game.
We trotted up Rock Creek and down to large Snow Lake, then rolled down the well-defined trail to Snoqualmie Pass. It rained all day, but we didn't care because we were getting out.
We were happily eating dinner at the Summit House at Alpental by 3:30 PM, waiting for our pickup party to arrive.
End adventure.
